Attention To All Small Business Owners

There will be another stimulus package for small business owners by the end of this week. However, you do have to apply and see if you will receive the check. Here is why I wanted to write about this since there isn’t much to say.

Who Qualifies As a Small Business

Do you make some kind of arts and craft that you sell on Etsy? Small business. Are you a freelance writer with your own website? Small business. Whatever work you do that you make money on, is considered a small business, as long as you’re self employed, is a small business. Any of you that have a side hustle may qualify for this check, and in the times that were in, it can come in handy.

How Much Can You Receive

This will be the second check being handed out. For this one, small businesses can receive $1,000 per employee, up to $10,000. From the first package, its been brought down from $10,000 to $1,000. I couldn’t find detail if it was that high per employee, or just one flat price that was to be given to businesses.

Why You Should Look Into It

This can be a good way to get extra money that can help you out with whatever it is you need. Especially if COVID-19 has had a negative impact on your business. Remember, it can literally just be you selling paintings on ebay or something, and that may qualify for the money. You don’t need to have stores on the street or a massive following. Just as long as you fit in the category of Small Business, you should be fine. Now, on their website, it will say loan, however if you read carefully, you will see that it also says that its a loan that does not have to be repaid. Don’t be shy, I know saying you have a business may sound crazy to you. However, its what it is by definition. It doesn’t need to be as big as Walmart to be considered a business.
